The Chief Mobility Officer (CMoO) is responsible for overall direction of all mobility issues associated with Information Technology applications, communications (voice and data), and computing services within the enterprise. At the same time the CMoO must be aware of the implications of IT and industry mobility trends.
One of the reasons why a corporation would want to create an office of the chief mobility officer is to improve coordination of mobile initiatives.
